My sculptures are constructed in bronze,brass , copper, and stainless steel.Each piece is individually created using traditional and unique metalworking techniques such as hot-forging,drawing(stretching), upsetting(compressing) , and welding. Each is an original work. Because the materials are mallaeble yet strong, any shape can be made directly with sufficient experience and creative methods. The sculptures are sandblasted, and the colors are achieved by hot-patination processes, so they are fine outdoors . My subjects vary from contemporary to very defined human concepts. But whatever the idea, all the elements contribute to an overall unified work. I am a second generation sculptor, and have been experimenting in this medium since 1973. What you see is a culmination of that experience.
